Objectives

• Develop a GIS methodology to estimate the national distribution of HNV forestry
• Assess the accuracy of GIS methodology
• Create an integrated methodology to estimate the distribution of HNV farmland and forestry in Ireland
• Assess current approaches, and potential future improvements for estimating the national distribution of HNV farmland

Outcomes

• A GIS methodology and national map of the distribution and extent of potential HNV farmland and forest at an appropriate resolution
